Tiffany L. Malvaso Tonawanda Murder, Nicholas Malvaso Arrest: Husband Charged in Death of Tiffany L. Malvaso

The Town of Tonawanda Police Department announces an update in the ongoing investigation into a homicide involving 51-year-old Tiffany L. Malvaso, of the Town of Tonawanda, and her husband, 36-year-old Nicholas M. Malvaso, also of the Town of Tonawanda, following an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of May 16, 2026.

At approximately 2:48 a.m., Town of Tonawanda Police officers and paramedics responded to a request for medical assistance at 337 Cleveland Drive. Upon arrival, responding units located Tiffany L. Malvaso, a 51-year-old resident of the Town of Tonawanda, deceased inside the residence. Investigators determined that she had suffered significant blunt force trauma.

A thorough and immediate investigation was launched by the Town of Tonawanda Police Department, during which detectives identified the suspect as the victim’s husband, Nicholas M. Malvaso, 36, also of the Town of Tonawanda. Evidence gathered at the scene and throughout the investigation indicated that he was responsible for the fatal injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Nicholas M. Malvaso has been charged with Murder in the Second Degree, a Class A-1 Felony under New York State law.

Following his arrest, Mr. Malvaso was arraigned in Town of Tonawanda Court before the Honorable J. Patrick Lennon. He has been remanded to the Erie County Holding Center without bail. His next scheduled court appearance is set for May 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in Town of Tonawanda Court.
