It is with profound sadness that family, friends, and colleagues mourn the passing of Scott McIntire of Avon.
Scott was known professionally as a Regional Property Manager with Brookside Properties, Inc., a role he began in March 2024. Prior to that, he spent many years with Van Rooy Properties, where he served both as Property Manager and later Regional Property Manager. Throughout his career, Scott earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and residents alike through his leadership, dedication, and strong work ethic.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Scott was deeply loved by his family and friends. In a heartfelt tribute, his wife described him as “our protector, our provider, the father of our children, and my best friend,” expressing the overwhelming heartbreak felt by those closest to him.
Scott will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, loyal friend, and compassionate individual who always put the people he loved first. His kindness, strength, and steady presence made a lasting impact on countless lives.
Originally from Clear Lake, Scott studied at University of Iowa and remained connected to the communities and relationships he built throughout his life.
As loved ones grieve this tremendous loss, prayers and support continue to surround his wife, children, family members, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time.
